Welcome to Intricut Home. By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms below. Please read them carefully.

2. Orders

All products are made to order. Your order confirmation acknowledges receipt, not acceptance. We may decline/cancel (e.g., pricing errors, material availability). If we can’t fulfil, you’ll receive a full refund.

Please check your delivery details carefully; we can’t be responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect addresses.

3. Bespoke / Made-to-Order & Cancellations (Important)

Most items are bespoke or made to your specifications (size/finish). Under UK law (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), the usual 14-day cooling-off right does not apply to goods made to a customer’s specification or clearly personalised.

We’ll always try to help, but once production has started we may be unable to cancel without cost. See our Returns Policy for how we handle returns and goodwill cancellations.

4. Products

Each piece is handcrafted from natural wood. Variations in colour, grain, knots, minor movement or small cracks are natural characteristics, not defects.

Measurements are approximate due to the handmade process.

Images are illustrative; tone and grain can vary between batches.

5. Pricing & Payment

Prices are in GBP (£).

Not VAT registered — no VAT is charged.

Payment is taken securely at checkout (via Shopify Payments/PayPal/major cards as shown). Orders are accepted once payment is processed and we begin production.

6. Delivery (UK Only)

We ship to UK addresses only.

Delivery costs and lead times are shown at checkout and on our Delivery/Shipping page.

We are not liable for delays outside our control (e.g., courier issues, strikes, adverse weather). We’ll keep you informed and take reasonable steps to minimise delay.

7. Returns & Refunds

Please see our dedicated Returns Policy for how to return an item and timeframes for refunds.

Return postage is the customer’s responsibility unless we’ve made an error or the item is faulty.

Bespoke/made-to-spec items are generally not eligible for change-of-mind returns (statutory exemptions apply), but we’ll always assess issues fairly.

8. Lifetime Structural Guarantee

All products include our Lifetime Structural Guarantee covering the structural integrity (joinery/framework/fixings supplied by us) under normal domestic use.

Exclusions: normal wear and tear; cosmetic changes/finishes; natural wood movement/colour change; damage from misuse, neglect, incorrect installation, damp, heat or sunlight.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law or our liability for death/personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud/fraudulent misrepresentation.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability in relation to any order is limited to the amount paid for the product(s) concerned.

10. Intellectual Property

All website content (text, images, designs, logo) is owned by Intricut Home and may not be used without permission.

11. Privacy

We process personal data per our Privacy Policy (including payments handled securely via our providers).

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

13. Load ratings and installation

Our shelves are designed for storage and display purposes when installed into a solid wall (brick, block or concrete) using appropriate fixings and with the load evenly distributed across the shelf.

Actual load capacity will vary depending on wall type, fixings used and how weight is placed. For this reason, we cannot guarantee a specific load in every installation.
